Magnezone is a unique pokemon, due to it being OU and also have the ability Magnet Pull in order to trap Steel types. Combined with its huge special attack stat makes it a fearsome enemy to steel types, where steels usually have higher defense than special defense.

This is the steel type sweeper set of Magnezone. Substitute is used to avoid status effects. Combined with Magnet Rise, it is like giving the immunity to the greatest threat that Magnezone faces, Earthquake (or Earth Power). Thunderbolt is used as main STAB and Hidden Power Grass is used to hit ground types hard.

This set is used to revenge kill. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are both STABs, while Hidden Power can be used to cover other types such as ground and grass that otherwise resist the STAB attacks. Explosion is used against special walls mainly Blissey, and which is guaranteed an OHKO after entry hazards.

yeah i like the subtitute + magnet rise combo, that will eliminate ground moves which is 400% damage received :D
